Incorrect Variations of Brand Name on Existing Listings - Unable to Edit Listings after Brand has been Registered
Hello,
We are the brand owner and many of our listings have slightly incorrect brand names (some variation of our actual brand name) because of how long it took for our trademark and brand to become registered and we had put up listings before the brand name was registered.
I submitted several requests for help with this, but I am always met with the same copy and paste answer of "we can't change any of these brand names because it's 'rebranding' - you need to make a new ASIN." I'm not sure how this is considered rebranding when I am trying to correct the brand name in the listing to our registered brand name, which is the same brand as what is on the product and packaging.
What is the best course of action here? We have existing listings for these products that have been established for years. Do we make new ASINs with the correct brand name and start over with zero reviews or what is recommended?
I just took over my company's Amazon store two days ago, so I am completely new to Amazon from a seller standpoint; please be understanding that this is very overwhelming and I'm not sure why it is so hard to get our product's brand names corrected. :) Not being able to edit the listing's details or A+ content is so frustrating.
Thank you!

Good Evening @Seller_0rXAME9V4LQSx,
Per the Amazon Brand Name policy, minor corrections can be made such as fixing typos, capitalization, and issues with legal abbreviations by reaching out to Selling Partner Support.
Ex: You could try to submit the change to support from "Saw Trax Mfg" to just "SAW TRAX" and see if that is a minor enough change otherwise...
After reviewing the cases and other examples you have shared with support, some of the ASINs brand name changes are not minor and therefore an entirely new listing will need to be created to meet product detail page rules. This is requested to protect customer trust and ensure catalog quality, we ask that you create a new ASIN for the new product.
-->HERE<-- is a post that I crafted which is perfect to all the questions you are having. You most certainly can use the New Version Widget tool as well to redirect to your new detail page. My colleague @Michelle_Amazon wrote a thread about that feature -->HERE<--
Feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions regarding the information shared above. Have a fantastic rest of the week.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
