Can I generate Discount Code for Product Insert that doesn’t expire?
I’m stuck on this and would appreciate any help.
- I’m including a "Thank You" card inside my product packaging and I’d like to print a Discount Code for 10% Off their next order they can redeem exclusively on Amazon.
- I’m unsure how to do this - I’ve tried setting up Social Media Promotion/Percentage Off promotion and generating a Discount Code that way, but the longest they are valid for is 30/180 days respectively.
This won’t work as my customers could end up getting a Discount code that has expired.
Can anyone guide me on how to create a long-lasting Discount code that doesn't expire in a few months? If it is not possible, I wonder if it is possible to keep recreating the “same code” when the original expires, so that the printed code will always be valid, and keep doing it that way?
Any best practices or tips for setting up and managing this type of discount code included in product packing would also be appreciated.

Hello @Seller_3ZVxCkeiC61NS- thanks for the post. Creating social media promotions and percentage off promotions will be your best avenue here, though they are time-bound, and may require updating when new promotions launch.
I do want to ensure you have this video on product insert compliance handy, as it does detail what can and can't be included in inserts. Be sure that any future discount is not offered in exchange for any reviews, as this can cause Account Health issues.
