Canadian sellers using FBA. What is your experience like?
I have been using FBA since May of this year. It started off as a bit of an experiment with the hopes of turning it into a side hustle. So far, so good. My margins are quite fair and I expect to break even before the end of the year. My questions to you:
1) What % of your revenue are you allocating towards PPC and how often are you tweaking your campaings?
2) Are you doing any other forms of advertising (Google, instagram Facebook etc. )?
3) Do you also sell in the USA or are you strictly selling in Canada?
4) Are your products imported from China? If so, do you ship direct to Amazon or do you take delivery of the product and package/ship to amazon yourself?

1) What % of your revenue are you allocating towards PPC and how often are you tweaking your campaings?
0%. I haven't paid a dime in advertising on Amazon and started in 2020.
2) Are you doing any other forms of advertising (Google, instagram Facebook etc. )?
No
3) Do you also sell in the USA or are you strictly selling in Canada?
My suppliers can't even keep up with the demand for the Canadian marketplace, let alone expanding to the USA. The USA will also have many more sellers competing for the buy box, and driving the price down, and I can't see how it would be worth it, as the USA would already have sellers that deal directly with the brands.
4) Are your products imported from China? If so, do you ship direct to Amazon or do you take delivery of the product and package/ship to amazon yourself?
Our products are sourced from Canada and US distributors.
We ship directly to our own warehouse first, prep and them ship to Amazon ourselves.

Well for newish items I keep it to about 1$/day and set product placement around 50-70% no other forms of ads
Not big enough to sell in US, I would only do it if they open global selling through Canada FBA where you can send Canada warehouse normally but they would handle all the exchange stuff etc. like they do for USA
Import from China, Italy, Brazil, US and make some here in Canada
I would never let anyone ship to Amazon unless I get to see video of the packaging process. Everything is checked and packaged in our branded bags/tags then sent in
