Transfer Subscribe and Save product to a new ASIN

Hi,

We're currently selling some products enrolled in the Subscribe & Save option program, we planned to update them to a newer version. Based on previous support guidance, we need to open a case with Amazon to facilitate this product transfer. Here are some our questions that the previous support can't help us with, We hope the Community and the Amazon staff here can help.

1. To ensure a smooth transition, could you clarify how Amazon defines a "new product"? For example, is it based on availability on Amazon for a certain number of days? We want to avoid adding the product too early and risking rejection for the transfer, which could result in losing our Subscribe & Save customers.

2. The new SKU represents the same product but in a smaller pack size and at a lower price point. Will Amazon accept this transfer under these circumstances?

Your insights on these matters would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey there @Seller_Lb5lmuZR9qKOD- and thanks for the questions! My understanding of the Managing Subscribe and Save Products Help Page is that "new" in this context is defined as any product that was not automatically enrolled. I was unable to find any hard documentation of pack sizes in relation to Subscribe and Save transfers, but could see this causing downstream impact. Have you connected with support at all on this yet or emailed the fba-sns-help@amazon.com alias as the above help page advises?

Thanks again!

Danny
