Amazon Attribution => Google Ads
Hi,
So I got my Amazon attribution tag for one of my products. I am now trying to create broad keyword (search) campaign in Google Ads.
I understand I will have to paste my Amazon attribution tag to the google url but I have no idea how to set things up so that google Ads will track which specific keyword generates conversion/sales, without adding Google tags to html, and I believe I can't add google tags to Amazon attribution link (correct me if I'm wrong).
I think I'm pretty confident with Amazon PPC but I am fairly new to Google Ads.
Is there any way I can track which keyword from Google Ads actually converted when I am using Amazon Attribution tag as the url?
Thanks

Hey there! So, when it comes to tracking conversions in Google Ads, you gotta play tag... HTML tag, that is! Yeah, you slap that little tag into your website code, and voila, conversions are magically tracked. But wait, there's a catch! When you direct traffic straight to Amazon, you can't just stick that tracking tag on Amazon's doorstep. It's like a no-entry sign for tags over there. So, what's a marketer to do? You end up with conversions on one side, tracked through the Amazon Attribution console, and clicks on the other side, measured by the Google Ads console. But sadly, these two don't wanna mingle. No connection, no party!
BUT! Hold on to your marketing hat because I made a discovery! There's a secret path, a mystical way to bridge this gap, and it goes by the name of bulk upload. I gave it a shot, uploaded the file to the Amazon Attribution console with all the hope in the world, and guess what happened? Nope, not a successful conversion tracking party. Instead, I got hit with an error like a virtual slap in the face! Ouch! I mean, I was so sure I did everything right, but apparently, the universe had other plans.
So, I did what any desperate soul would do—I turned to seller support for salvation. But oh boy, it's been a week, and they're still scratching their heads, unable to crack the code. Talk about a support system that needs some support themselves!
Well, here's hoping my tale of woe and intrigue at least brought a smile to your face. Maybe it'll inspire you to uncover the hidden solution or find another way to conquer the conversion tracking challenge. Good luck, my fellow marketing adventurer!
