A-z claim for a package not delivered, but the deliver date is by the 28th

Buyer reached out stating item not delivered. Tracking is marked as delivered (non amazon shipping) and I told them to wait a few days just in case it turns up. If it doesn't, i'm happy to refund. Of course, less than a day later the a-z is opened. The claim is still in review and has been for 2 days.

I don't mind refunding as it was a pretty low cost item, I just want to avoid the ODR effect. The item deliver by date is the 28th, so I do I have any claim against an odr rate? How do I approach this correctly? Thanks!

Yes. If the claim goes through and affects your ODR, file an appeal for it. Don't contest the refund or decision, but point out that by Amazon policy buyers are supposed to give the seller 48 hours after contact to resolve the situation before they can open an A-to-Z claim, which didn't happen.

If you want to contest the entire claim, reach out to the carrier and see if they have proof of delivery if the tracking on the carrier website doesn't show it.

Hello @Seller_nGvERFrXkZqro,

Thanks for the post here! Im curious if there has been any change in this situation. If not, can you please send over the Order ID. Although I'm unsure if the outcome will change here, I would like to look further into this claim. Thank you!
