If you submit an item that is seasonal, or that may require professional assistance to install, reviewers may have to request the item before they can use it....for instance, if you offer seeds in winter, odds are the reviewer can't sow them for several months...but they are *expected* to do their reviews within a "timely manner" (around a month).

It may take longer than that to properly use the item...in which case the reviewer may open the package and comment on whatever they can observe about it (in the case of seeds, maybe they can germinate a few as well...or just observe that they look fresh and that the appropriate amount is in the package). Many will come back and update once they put the product to use. But if you want timely reviews of seasonal products, don't offer them out of season...and for specialty items, you may just have to trust that each one will come back and update as the product is put into service.
