Labeling of children's products

Dear Amazon Sellers

My product is about to be uploaded to the children's products category, but I was told that I need to label the outer packaging, but we have already passed the CPC qualification, do we still need to label the Hazard Communication Label?

Hello @VNINE,

Thank you very much for contacting Amazon, this is Lucre from Amazon Forums and it's a pleasure to assist you!

I understand you would like to know if you need to label hazard warnings on children products even though you are already approved to sell with your CPC qualification.

According to this Seller University article, I was able to confirm that all product labels must comply with local regulations for the country or region you're selling in, regardless of the category. The country of Canada currently has packaging requirements on chidren's sleepwear only, which indicates the words that should appear on the packaging and languages in which it should be labeled(please refer to these help pages for further information). Other children products don't require specific information on labels.

However, please know that all hazard warnings should be clearly displayed on detail pages for children toys so that customers can be notified of any hazard before purchasing and can make a well informed decision about the product a child will be using. Even if you don't sell toys, it's always recommended to include any potential hazard that your product may have (if any) for a better customer experience.

Please refer to the below help page to know more about hazard communication in detail page for chidren toys:

Children’s toys

If you sell any other children product and don't know if requirements apply, please let me know in this thread so I can further assist.

Happy selling on Amazon!

Regards,
