What is Amazon's Fed-Ex Account Number?
Does anyone know Amazon's FedEx Account Number or how to find it? I would call and ask seller support, but they can never give a straight answer. I'm here now due to them giving me a run-around.
Months ago, I purchased shipping through Amazon's shipping services for a sale, only to come back about a week or two later to find I had been debited over 100% more. When going through the details on Amazon, I discovered that Fed-Ex wrongly adjusted the item's weight to twice the amount, which caused Amazon to debit me a total shipping cost of more than twice what I paid for the label.
When I contacted seller support about this, I spent hours on the phone with the agent, only to be told that I had to reach out to Fed-Ex directly if I wanted reimbursement. But now that I've found the time to contact the Fed-Ex reimbursement team, I've been told that since I bought it through Amazon, they should be handling the issue since their account processed the payment and got billed. But the agent says, at the very least, I need Amazon's Fed-ex account number to try to process any claim. Agent says Ii usually starts with a 5 or 7 and is nine digits.
Does anyone know how to find that Fed-Ex account number or how to help? This is such a headache!!!

Hello @Seller_HiTXE2Jfg6hnF. That is a frustrating experience and I am sorry for the difficulty you have had in resolving that issue.
Carrier Adjustments must be disputed through Amazon. The Amazon account number is not available to sellers and disputes can not be done directly with the carrier.
Carrier shipping correction charges
If you provide a Case ID I can review the details and determine if there is a path to escalate your dispute.
