FBA becoming more and more frustrating, Inventory incorrectly received and they don't care.

Anyone else having issues with FBA shipments taking forever to be received and when they finally do Amazon ALWAYS seems to have an issue and cannot count properly? It's almost like they don't read the labels of each item!

Our shipment took over a month to be "received", shipped pn May 18th, Delivered on May 24th. First notice said it would be checked in by June 2, then that changed to June 9 then it changed to June, 16, June 19, June 25 and finally July 1 when it was fully "Received" albeit incorrectly. I know the count of each item was correct and I even enclose a photo of the contents of the package showing all the items in that box. One item they ALWAYS seem to short by one or two units every time I send product. Some of the items I send in for FBA are remote controls that have two different models. The model name is clearly printed on the box end. After I had shipped my fulfillment order to Amazon, they deleted one of the product ASIN since the manufacturer apparently has not completed the Lithium button cell battery compliance forms that are now required. So, I sent in 12 units of the item that has been "Deleted", a multi channel remote along with 20 units of the single channel version (which is "approved" for sale). Amazon "Received" the single channel units and claimed that there were 12 additional sent and NONE of the multi channel. Filed a claim and they said nothing was wrong. Asked them to check the photo AND the packing list and still they claim that they were all single channel which of course cost less than the multi channel. Tried to explain another time and got a message that stated "The previous information provided is correct and by reopening cases for the same reason in expectation of receiving different results, you are in violation of Guidelines for contacting Seller Partner Support. Amazon may close cases or limit support if you don’t follow these guidelines."

So, now they have officially received (incorrectly) 32 units of the single channel remote yet NONE of them show up on my inventory page. There was some existing inventory at Amazon's warehouse before these were received. Sales Summary shows 22 units sold in the last 30 days, available inventory says ZERO for both the single channel and multi channel ASIN. So.... Where did my inventory go? No one can tell me, no one cares and nobody will respond. Guess this is what happens when you are just a small plankton in the ocean of Amazon.

So frustrated with FBA, I'm out thousands of dollars in merchandise and sales because of this. Thinking of going back to only FBM because Amazon seems to be getting worse and worse when receiving merchandise.

Hi @Seller_VM74WEydE8WFo,

Thank you so much for reaching out about this! I truly apologize for the frustration this has caused you.

Now just to confirm, when you experience discrepancies with a shipment, do you request an investigation via the Contents tab of the shipment? If you haven't done so already, I would highly recommend doing so now. For more information on requesting an investigation, please read through this help page.

If you need further assistance after that investigation takes place, please send me your shipment ID and your case IDs. I'd be happy to take a further look into those cases!

Thanks again,

Jameson

We are having similar issues. Amazon taking over a month to "receive" and scan in inventory to FBA. How are we suppose to plan for 1-month lead times? Amazon must be having major issues with staffing.

Jameson
