Unfulfillable Inventory Removal Orders "Dispatch-to Address"
I thinks it important for other sellers to take Removal Orders seriously. As a seller who moves 15,000 plus units a year, I have many Removal orders, and I usually have them sent back to me due to many of them being in a good condition with value. I've noticed over this last year or two that the number of times I get the wrong items back is getting out of control. I get the most bizarre and dirty old used items that are Not even close to the ASIN thats suppose to be returned.
Many buyers have become crooks and know they can get away with putting other items in the return and easily get full compensation. This has gotten out of hand. Amazon does reimburse a small percentage if you take the time to open a ticket and waste half hour on the phone and uploading pictures, but it's not even worth the time. HOWEVER, I've come to realize that we MUST ALL open these tickets EVERY time because if they have to pay out something to us constantly, maybe then they will do something to vet our products being returned and take this seriously.
These crooks need to be held accountable and should NOT get refunded for sending in the wrong item. I have heard stories from an Amazon worker who does returns and it's pathetic; they do not care at all what is returned as long as it is something, and they said that was how they were trained, and all others.
So please open a ticket every time a wrong item comes back to you. If enough cases are opened and reimbursements are paid out, there can be some positive change in this.

Agreed. I open a case every time and upload as many images as I can because whomever is doing this I want to see in the paper as being arrested for felony fraud and theft. The only way to get Amazon's attention is to show them through finances. Reporting abuse does nothing compared to having a spreadsheet showing how much Amazon has reimbursed us for repeat customer theft. It is also how one person has been shut down 3 times and I was able to report their seller account to the Bay since they were reselling stolen Amazon goods (including ours). You can find them by searching your product and limiting it to within 5 miles of the zip code from the offending buyer.
