Charge fee

I recently signed up for an individual account, however, upon reviewing my recent transactions, I noticed that I have been charged the fee for a professional account instead. This discrepancy is concerning to me as it does not align with the plan I selected during registration and i didn't upgrade my account.

Thank you for reaching out. My apologies on the confusion. When you initially signed up for Amazon you put in your credit card and were charged the $39.99 subscription fee for a professional sellers account. Please click HERE for a side by side comparison with the professional an individual plans.

You can choose to downgrade your account from a Professional selling plan to an Individual selling plan, if you don't want to be charged a monthly subscription fee.

  • On the Seller Account Information page, in the Your Services section on the left, click Manage.
  • Note: If you don't see the option to modify your selling plan, you may need to close other accounts. Please see Accounts that require a Professional selling plan below before moving to the next step.
  • On the My Services page, click Downgrade located in the Sell on Amazon section.
  • Review the terms on the next page, then click Confirm Selling Plan Change to accept the terms and switch your plan.

If you would like your refund, please open a seller support case. As long as you have not used any functions of the professional plan, you can get a one time refund.
