Model number for a Pet dietary supplement?
Can someone enlighten me as to why I am being asked for a model number for a dietary supplement?
It makes no sense.
As far as I can ascertain Dietary supplements in the USA are not required to have a model number.
FDA regulations do not specify such a requirement on their labels.
They have a batch number and expiry date stamped directly onto every bottle but not a model number.
I think compliance are getting confused and referring to a medical device?
I have been selling this product for 9 years, first time I have been asked for a model number.
This is what they are saying - Based on the latest approved compliance requirement for PDE case for US, here's the compliance requirements for Pet Supplement:
An affidavit letter with model number.
