About my new seller account
Hello,
I opened an Amazon US account..but since it did not allow me to add new products, I created inventory from a Canadian account and an email was sent before the products reached Canada..in short, Turkey is currently not among the countries supported for individual seller registration in Amazon's Marketplaces. it says..but like many people, I want to sell without a company and I do not have the opportunity to open a company. Is this a situation specific to Canada?

Hello @Seller_i99FnwhzWBgjD
Christine here from Amazon Forums.
No, this isn't specific to Canada - it's actually a broader policy across Amazon's major marketplaces (US, Canada, UK, EU).
Currently, if you're residing in Turkey, you cannot register as an individual seller on Amazon's marketplaces. This applies to:
- Amazon.com (US)
- Amazon.ca (Canada)
- Amazon.co.uk (UK)
- Amazon's European marketplaces
I've seen many sellers face this same challenge. Amazon requires sellers from certain countries (including Turkey) to register as a business entity rather than an individual seller. This is related to various factors including tax regulations, compliance requirements, and cross-border commerce policies.
Your options are:
- Register a legal business entity (I know you mentioned this isn't feasible for you)
- Wait for Amazon to potentially expand their individual seller eligibility to more countries
Hope this helps clarify the situation! Let me know if you have any other questions.
