Help My ODR keeps going up!

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone could help me understand why my ODR keeps going up. I had 5 orders that had A to z Claims filed on my company. 2 of those claims I know I can not win because the shipping label was purchased outside of seller central. The other 3 orders how however where purchased through seller central. I am in the footwear category and Jan to Feb is our slowest time of the year. Since I have lows sales right now those claims are increasing my ODR faster then ever just 3 days ago I was at 2.1% now today I am at a 3.29% If I get to 6 it's over. These 3 orders that the shipping labels were purchased seller Central have been lost in transit by USPS. I did my part shipped the order on time and handed the shoes over to USPS with the labels scanned in. The problem is that those 3 order that could have been appealed and I most likey would have won those claims and it would not be counted on my ODR. The problem is the dead line was missed because they never should in the A to Z claims to appeal section. So it's only those 5 and they all had final dissection. No negative feed bad has been posted either. Shipping is 100% and canceled orders is also 100% so nothing wrong with those. Account health emailed me back asked for screen shots and Order ID's for the orders that I can appeal. Still waiting on them to reply. I had to source out a new product that had I demand and lower the price and lose money to to increase my sales to hopefully lower this ODR. I am running a legit business out of a warehouse not my house so I'm not that small so losing amazon could really hurt my company. If anyone knows what I could do to stop this increasing of the of this ODR I would greatly appreciate it. I also just called seller support and had them look at the notes of the cases and account health received the screen shots and is reviewing the case. Also, she told them my ODR is increasing everyday and let them know that my appeal section was not showing orders that I could appeal. All my orders are FBM

Thank you!

This time of year can be difficult for things like this, regardless of category; still have the holiday rush in the rear view mirror, with some of the slowest sales of the year going on now.

The ODR is calculated over the last 60 days. As your good days toward the end of the holiday season drop off, you aren't likely to get a similar number of sales now; so total sales during the last 60 days drops. If the problem orders are still within the last 60 days, your ODR% will go up.

The good news is that as soon as one or more of the problem orders is 61 days old, your percentage will go back down. Hopefully, at least one or two are getting close to that barrier.

I appreciate this information, I do however want to inquire if you have an at risk of deactivation banner or a submit appeal option in the account health dashboard? Typically, an account can be eligible for deactivation for exceeding 1%, so I want to better understand the severity of the situation.

As mentioned by @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw, the order defect rate has a 60-day calculation, currently showing November 23, 2023 through January 27th, 2024 as of today. This is a rolling calculation that moves forward by 1 day, each day. As an example this date tomorrow will reflect: November 24, 2023 through January 28th, 2024.

Additionally, to confirm when these defects will fall out of the calculation window and no longer impact your performance calculations. You can navigate to the order defect rate section from the account health page. You can from here click download report to see which orders are impacting you still.

We base the impact off the order dates, not the complaint or feedback dates so you're aware.

Buy a bunch of cheap things that have low rank - even if you lose a few cents. Sell 50 of those a day and itll fix its self in a few days. Always a chance you might get nailed before it corrects but hopefully you can get your metrics back. It's quite unethical for them to allow claims/theft just because you didnt give them some of the shipping revenue but it is what it is.

Always a chance you might get nailed before it corrects but hopefully you can get your metrics back. It's quite unethical for them to allow claims/theft just because you didnt give them some of the shipping revenue but it is what it is.
