As you know we have warning of INFORM Act Tax Questionnaire for a long time on our amazon seller account.
I am not US citizen or resident. I am from china. I have single member LLC in US. I already verified Identity, Phone Number, Bank Account, Business Address except Tax ID.
Amazon does not allow me to correct my Tax ID information. Amazon just mix my address. It's Pre-selected by Amazon system. Because of this I can not verify my Tax ID. And the deadline is very close. July 7th
I contact sell support, they just said wait wait wait......

on the main post INFORM Consumers Act Verifications FAQ, it says" If your business is registered in the US, we have already verified your Tax information and we do not need you to fill this questionnaire out again."
I assume this applies to you.

Did you select "business" as your tax classification? A single member llc is an individual. What name you enter in the name box? Your name or single member llc? Amazon says you can't enter EIN of single member llc as tax ID, SSN instead.
Not sure what documents you have submitted for the identity verification, the field may be greyed out as default.
We have a similar issue, non-US person, but own a single member llc, registered and business address is in a different country. The verification process got frustrated.
Could you share your experience of identity verification to help sellers with the similar issue here?
Business name: Single member llc name or your personal name
Business location: US or China
Business type: "none, I am an individual" or "Privately owned business"
As stated, if an option was selected wrong, that may not change on the next. So some unexpected issues will be encountered.
Try to call Account health support or seller support to get more help, good luck!

Same here.
I am not a US citizen however I have an LLC registered in US and it is also registered on my Amazon seller account and on the ACCOUNT INFO > TAX INFORMATION page, it shows the following with the green check mark.
"Tax information is complete
Your tax information has been validated successfully."
However, Inform Act is STILL asking for tax info and USA is not on the list.
I have contacted with Amazon numerous times, seller support keeps telling me that special team will look into this.
I am about to go crazy.

Hi,
we are from China as well. Is your W-8BEN form still valid? It expires in 3 years from the date of application. If so, go to account info->legal entity->update tax information and see if you can update it. We don't have a tax number as well, just upload your business registration certificate and that should do it.
But if you run into anything that you are not sure of, wait for Seller Support's reply.
