Second Selling account for US legal entity
Hello,
It looks like Seller Central is suggesting opening a second amazon selling account for US marketplace even though the first one is registered in Canada, because we cannot change the legal entity country from Canada to US.
I'm not able to find this in amazon policies and neither does support can provide an answer. Case ID 15249672311
What I'm trying to also find out is whether it is allowed for _both_ of my owned amazon selling accounts (US & Canada) to sell under the same ASIN listing?
Both accounts will be under 2 different legal entities for each respective country.

Do NOT create a second seller account for selling your same products. This is not allowed and will your both accounts get suspended.
USA, Canada and Mexico (+ newly Brazil in some cases) is ONE unified account, so you own already an account for the US marketplace.
OF COURSE you cannot use two different legal entities for each marketplace. You are ONE company, wherever you sell your products, from China to Taka Tuka country.

this information is really not possible, there is something you didn't understand, or the SS rep smoked something strong in the morning....

this information is correct. Do you have products in an Amazon warehouse at this moment?

Thank you for posting your inquiry into Forums. You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.
Examples of a legitimate business justification include:
- You own multiple brands and maintain separate businesses for each
- You manufacture products for two distinct and separate companies
- You are recruited for an Amazon program that requires separate accounts
