NEED HELP BRING A MAJOR FLAW IN AMAZONS FUNKO LISTING!!!!
Dear Amazon,
I am writing today as a considered seller of the Funko pop collectables community. It has come to my attention that your platform does NOT support the addition of funko pops of the same kind that share the same UPC. please allow me to explain the issue in further detail
Funko is a brand that produces collectable figurines. These figurines during the manufacturing process are created Using the same location, Raw material, box, every detail is word for word the same except one thing… the sticker that they put on the bottom right corner. These stickers represent the part of the world that the collectible will be sold in, so if it is sold in the USA it will have a USA sticker on it, and if it is sold elsewhere it will have an International version sticker.
Now to repeat, this is the EXACT SAME collectable with identical UPC identities but with different stickers. Unfortunately the popularity of the sticker type collectors buy is very important to them, even to such a degree that they would return or call to complain if they received the collectible with the incorrect sticker labeling.
Now the issue stems here that it is a rat race to the finish line on who can list their version on amazon before the other and what i mean is if another seller were to apply to sell this collectable on amazon and put that he is selling the USA version along with a picture of the pop that has the USA sticker than it is set in stone that it will be the ONLY version that is sellable on amazon despite there being a different version with the same UPC code.
Currently your system when trying to add the international version to an already existing USA version recognizes that it is the same UPC product and therefore thinks you are trying to sell the USA version when that isn't the case and as a result doesnt let me make a variation listing.
I am absolutely positive this has been an ongoing issue that many sellers of the brand FUNKO have struggled with and have not been able to come up with a solution. I am please requesting that you change your system to accommodate this issue if possible.
Please note that a GTIN exemption is NOT possible since the International version does have a UPC…. the same UPC as the USA version so that will not be an option as I have tried.
Additionally to give further proof some listings on amazon for specific FUNKO collectibles only sell the International version as opposed to the USA version because whoever listed it originally wanted to sell that variation of it and as result the people who get there from the USA cant sell theirs since they have the USA sticker.
I have yet to see any single funko pop that has both the USA version and the international version be listed on the same ASIN b/c you have not made it possible yet.
To give an example of what i am talking about please search FUNKO YAMATO on google and click the funko website Where you can see in both the pictures and in the product description that company says you can get either version of the sticker on the collectible. The sticker for reference will be located on the bottom right of pictures 2 and 3 which show the different types.
I hope this detailed message has made my issue very clear and will help guide you in correcting this vital mistake so that both you, sellers and buyers can be satisfied with their purchases.
Thank you,

First, this is a FORUM and not Amazon so only other sellers are normally here to see questions and cries for help. The occasional MOD does stop by to monitor things and maybe one will see this.
It’s still the BEST place to post asking for help BUT just ask for the help from other sellers and NOT from any of the Amazon departments that probably don’t even know the Forum exists. (Only a SMALL amount of sarcasm there)!
Second, this is Amazon and you need to treat Amazon like a three year old -- short sentences, small words and bullet points . You will be dealing with people who have SOME English but it is most likely NOT their primary language.
Think SMALL.
Short sentences
Bullet points
SMALL WORDS that someone reading it can understand when English is NOT their primary language.
Third, there is NO CHANCE at all that anyone at Amazon is going to get past the second sentence before they fall asleep.
Fourth, WHAT the bleep is 'a considered seller'? Are you AUTHORIZED to sell them? If not it is a short road to a suspension regardless of the mess that the Amazon ASINs are.

OMG with the Funko Pops....Might as well be Playstation, Nintendo, Marvel Superheros or Pokemon.....These brands are managed actively. Only the brand can modify or add a listing.
FYI selling these brands are a minefield, hope your on the authorized seller list otherwise your in for a world of hurt.

Amazon does not consider "collectible" as a value. This isn't the place to list something that has a different price range just for the collectible aspect.

[Moderator edit: removed inappropriate commentary]! Sell these on EBAY!

The international and US versions of the items have the same UPCs and the majority of customers do not care about the sticker at all. Having double the listings would be confusing and messy. If anything, there's bigger problems with funko branding on amazon than this.
I sell both versions myself and rarely have an issue with this from customers.

We sell Funko and if a buyer cares about the sticker on the box they will usually email and ask prior to buying. There is no way Amazon is going to create a separate listing for a sticker variation; they do not even have listings for the Chase variants most of the time.
Similar problems exist with Hot Wheels where they use the same exact UPS for multiple cars; a seller can cleave the original listing to create a new one.

Do Funko Pops have bobble heads?

for everyone that replied good and bad, thank you, did not notice that this post was not the standard one you might see. Regardless, I am grateful for help in having me understand a few important attributes to selling on amazon overall.
have a good day everyone.

Amazon is not a very desireable place to sell such Funko products, for the exact reasons you detail. There are many other items as well that will have the same UPC among them although they will be different version or different 'models' of the same product. Simply pass over selling these particular items in leiu of selling other items better suited for Amazon listing.

Wait, so are you complaining about you LISTING a Funko product?
Sorry, I just glanced over your rant.
