Account Health Warning - Risk of Deactivation
A mystery Policy Warning, causing Account Health Rating to drop to zero. Need help, please.
Hello,
I rarely post in forums. I searched forums to see if somebody else had a similar issue and was able to resolve it successfully, but I didn’t find anything. I’m hoping one of you can help me or a MOD could kindly take a look at this and advise.
“Notice: Account policy warning
Dear (our business name here),
We are notifying you that attempting to damage or abuse another seller, their listings, or their ratings is a policy violation that negatively impacts your account health. If left unaddressed, this may lead to account deactivation.
Why did this happen?
All sellers on Amazon are expected to follow the Amazon Selling Policies and Seller Code of Conduct. As part of the code of conduct, sellers should not attempt to damage or abuse another seller, their listings, or their ratings. This includes, but is not limited to, placing fake orders to hold a competitor’s inventory. Please review Amazon’s policy regarding attempting to damage or abuse another seller, their listings, or their ratings (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/G1801).
How do I address this issue?
Please view the policy warnings on your Account Health page (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/performance/account/health/policy-warnings) and follow the guidance in the "Next Steps" column next to the policy warning.
What happens if I do not follow the instructions on the Account Health page?
If we do not receive the requested information, the policy warning will remain on your account for 180 days following the date on which it was posted to your account.
Has this message been sent in error?
If you believe there has been an error, please submit an explanation by following the guidance in the "Next Steps" column next to the policy warning on your Account Health page. Your explanation should include the following information:
– Evidence or examples that demonstrate your account complies with our Selling Policies and Seller Code of Conduct.

Our Account Health page began showing the following violation:
Selling Policies and Seller Code of Conduct (attempting to damage or abuse another seller)
I read the policy and found that we did not violate any of the terms there. Our Account Health page is perfect (0% for all negatives and 100% for all positives). We don’t damage any sellers in any way. We don’t modify anyone’s listings (but that was done to our listings by other sellers). We don’t leave any feedbacks (last time I left feedback was for a personal purchase over two years ago and it was a positive feedback – normally, I either leave a positive feedback or don’t leave any, but I stopped doing any feedbacks two years ago). Same goes for reviews: I leave either a good review or don’t leave any. We are authorized for the manufacturers we sell, and Amazon has authorizations on file. We don’t do fake purchases to hold the inventory (but that was done to us by others). We never had any incident with another seller abusing our brand, i.e. there are no complaints filed by us there either.

Have you appealed? You will have to have a strong, short, to the point POA.

Hello @Seller_ZCEWiFhI60EGv
Thank you for the information provided regarding the recent messaging received in relation to the concerns over the activity our team has found on the account. I understand that you have not conducted any actions that could have been seen as a violation.
Are you the only one associated with this account? Do you have anyone who assists with the operation that could have been acting on your behalf? We would recommend investigating to see if there was any point where actions could have been taken.
– Evidence or examples that demonstrate your account complies with our Selling Policies and Seller Code of Conduct.
– How your account has not violated our policies.
You will need to provide details that can show that there was no violation occurring as they do take these situations very seriously. If you are unable to provide disputing evidence, we cannot guarantee a resolution for the concern.
We do encourage you to continue to refer to this thread with any future questions or updates you have on this situation for support.
Best,
Atlas
