Bank Account Verification for INFORM Consumers Act Compliance

Hi,

We have been facing an issue regarding bank account verification from about 10 -14 days. We have been submitting bank account statement for verification meeting all the requirements i.e.

1.Account Holder Name should be mentioned and should match with name in Amazon Deposit Method

2.Account Number to match with Amazon Deposit Method Account Number

3. Statement should not be older than 180 days.

4. Should not be a screenshot but a pdf issued by bank.

We are meeting all above requirements. Amazon has also disburse amount in this bank account recently. It's a Payoneer personal Bank Account.

After re submitted various bank documents we get the same reply unable to verify with all above reasons mentioned. We have also tried re-adding bank account information but still the account is now assigned to .mx and .ca marketplaces and when we assign it to US marketplace it says bank account needs to be verified first.

Also opened a case after submitting the verification documents and requested to manually verify our bank statement as it meets all the required criteria but still not able to verify. That case was closed with response that we will get reply as the verification is in process as we submitted the documents.

Now we tried to open a case without submitting the statement so to request for manual verification with attachment to the case but not able to submit the case either and internal failure for solve puzzle is poping up everytime and have tried like more than 50 times today.

So thought to write here for the most needed help. Thanks in advance for a positive response if any Amazon associate can help with it.

Anytime the information on your account is changed, this will re-trigger the INFORM verification process.

Account statements provided by an e-commerce payment service providers such as Payoneer, Hyperwallet, World First, and Alipay are acceptable.

Other than the criteria you have provided in your post, you also must make sure that your document meets the document requirements and the following criteria:

  • Must be issued within the last 180 days and show the issuing date, due date, or transaction dates.
  • Must have the financial institution details to show at least one of the following details: bank name, bank stamp, bank signature, or bank logo.
  • Must have the name and address of the account holder.

Did your document show a full statement? This would show any transactions in addition to your balance and the rest of the information?
