Video ID verification request from Amazon.de - is it legit?

I've received an email asking me to schedule an appointment for a video ID verification from Amazon Germany (my account was opened in North America but it is also connected to a German account). The email says that if I don't verify my identity by a certain date, they will suspend my account.

How do I know if this is legit? And has anyone had this request?

Steve from Amazon here, thank you for the post. Most emails that require an action from Amazon can also be found in your Seller Central account, I recommend that you check your notifications in your Seller Central.

I also recommend that you contact Seller Support in the marketplace that the request is pertaining to and they can review the account to verify the accuracy of the request.
