Amazon reimbursed lower amount then the actual cost of the inventory
Amazon reimbursed the amount for my missing units but I was thinking amazon would reimburse me the amount for which I was suppose to sell that product whereas amazon has reimburse me the amount even less then for which I had bought it.
Amazon paid me $22.63, which in total for 25 units is $565 but the inventory itself has cost me 750$ including expenses and I was suppose to sell it even with higher than that.
we are here to make business and earn profits, if by any mean amazon loses out shipment for which we had paid shipping and handling fees + warehouse charges + the actual cost of goods + the time it takes to be live on amazon as for my case it took 45+ days, we are suppose to be reimbursed in a full or at least in amount which could cover all the costs if not profits because its not our fault or mistake.

Good morning,
Thanks for taking the time to raise this issue here on the forums, and for providing all of the relevant details. I have reviewed your case, as well as the invoice document you attached. I've gone ahead and escalated the case to our internal team as a result. If they are able to assist, they will reach out to you via a new case in 1-2 business days. Keep an eye on your case log, and I will reach back out once I hear from them.

Amazon only reimburses the cost paid for lost inventory; no expenses related to the loss inventory is included.

lol, nice joke of the day. Amazon has to make a profit on everyone and everything, FBA was a gold mine to them. This allows them to do or say anything and nobody can touch them unless they get caught, which won’t happen because they “donate” so much money to government agencies and officials. So basically out of the millions of units daily they “lose” in their warehouses, they reimburse you for Pennie’s and when they “find” them, turn around and make profit on them. It was the easiest way for them to build their empire so quick. When over a million sellers utilize this, it’s easy for them to pretty much do as they want and make huge sums of money. Especially when it’s not their inventory and then magically becomes their inventory.

There are many reasons why Amazon will short change you for your inventory that they lost. Maybe there is no sales history. They tend to throw out a number around $25 that they cannot easily quantify.
Was the inventory customer damaged at the time of loss? If that is the case, you will receive 50% of the normal reimbursement rate.
Unfortunately you have not provided many details of the loss event so it's hard to provide specific information. If the loss occurred during receiving, then insist you be reimbursed at least the amount of the value of the inventory. You might have to reopen the case a few time to get it escalated. Usually, if you are persistent enough, you will at least get the value listed on the invoice. Be diligent and don't give up easily. You might get a few denials before you get the final reimbursement rate.
Good luck!

STOP using SCAMAZON !!!
We have experienced the same problems.
A product that cost us approx. $9.00 per unit was lost in their various warehouses and they reimbursed us $2.00. We even provided the factory phone number to check the cost $$
We stopped at $1500 in loses.
