Error message when I go to sell

When I go to sell something I get an error message as follows:

Problem with your Seller Account

Our records indicate that you are not authorized to access this feature.

Return to your Seller Account

I have hit the "reactivate my account" button a hundred times and my acocunt is in "healthy" status.

Any advice? Thanks!

Over ten years ago, I sold a hamonica for $10 and an air filter for $40 and both buyers had an "issue" with the sale. I believe it was buyer fraud on both counts but Amazon deactivated my account as a result. Since then I've sold over three hundred things on Ebay with a perfect 100% approval rating as a seller. I have written several times to Amazon to ask them to revisit the account and allow me to sell with no satisfactory response. I would assume since the deactivation was over ten years ago there should be a second chance coming? The account LOOKS like it CAN be reactivated (there is a reactivation button option) and the health statistics are all there and robust. Can anyone assist? I'm a great seller and I would like to get some of these things a second home instead of putting them in a landfill... Thanks!

It all depends on what the "issues" were with your items. Do you have the original deactivation notice?

From ten years ago? No. I believe one guy wanted to return one of the items or had an issue with the semantics of the ad. I remember the harmonica was under $10 and I think I mislabeled the brand (although it was clear on the picture). But as I recall my violation was slowness to respond I think

As I think about it - it might have been there was a small missing part - like a $3 value part - and I would have happily looked for it and sent it or reimbursed the guy but by the time I got to it Amazon had refunded him (and took the money to refund him from me). Does that sound right? Anyway, I am a very good person and would never cheat anyone and this is pretty shortsighted and unfair to me as a seller.

Without the actual reason for the deactivation, there really isn't anything can do to help you. Was it really that you were slow in responding? Was it a intellectual property violation? Was it due to copyright infringement?

Amazon isn't usually forgiving if a violation or deactivation isn't handled properly or in a reasonable amount of time.

Is there a way to create a case?

I created a case several times over the past ten years - I've spent dozens of hours on this. There was nothing seriously wrong in either case and the sales were both for low value items. I have an impeccable record on other sales sites like Ebay (for over ten years) and Facebook Marketplace (for two years). Do you know what email address the deactivation would have come from so I can look for it that way?

Thank you. This is why I feel there is a technical glitch in my account. Because all performance notices are "N/A" in my account and when I select the reactivate my account button. I see something that says "You must successfully address all issues below to qualify for account reactivation." but then there is nothing listed. Given that my "violations" were incredibly small ten years ago I think there is something technically wrong here but I dont know who to contact to address it? Thanks.

Amazon is not the best marketplace place for second hand goods. Even selling used book is becoming difficult with publishing companies demanding their perpermission to resell their products. I would stick to another marketplace.

I have hit the "reactivate my account" button a hundred times and my acocunt is in "healthy" status.

This is why I feel there is a technical glitch in my account. Because all performance notices are "N/A" in my account and when I select the reactivate my account button. I see something that says "You must successfully address all issues below to qualify for account reactivation." but then there is nothing listed. Given that my "violations" were incredibly small ten years ago I think there is something technically wrong here but I dont know who to contact to address it?
