Amazon Warehouse Loses Entire Box
Are there any options for getting a case open when Amazon FTW9 warehouse loses an entire box in a shipment but closes the shipment and the status is Investigation complete? I will tell you I didn't ship a box of air, the box shows received at the warehouse. I opened a case and provided proof of delivery and invoice over 2 weeks ago and the Amazon has done absolutely nothing.

FBA received 1 unit out of 20 units that I sent of my book.
Claiming that I sent a large box with only 1 book inside?
I posted on the forums just like you are posting now.
I was connected to an associate via a moderator on this forum. This delayed the process 2 weeks only to come to the same conclusion. Amazon will not reimburse me for those lost 19 units.
I lost about $200 because of this. In addition, I concluded that Amazon is purposely not accepting Alibaba invoices for one reason or another.

It amazes me how they hit your shipment matrix if they over count but sweep it under the rug when they under count and want us to accept their error.

This happens A LOT, unfortunately. Amazon insisted that the box I sent had no units in it at all. Value was in excess of $3,000. Hired an outside company, but after a year only got maybe 1/3 reimbursed AND I had to pay the outside company 25% of that!

Amaon makes a distinction between invoices issued by Alibaba. You have to ask them for a sales invoice, not the one they normally issue becasue Amazon assumes people lie on the invoices for import tax reasons. I think it is part of an intentional attempt to shirk responsibility for Amazon losing our products, but that is what they require. Just have your manufacturer provide a sales invoice for shipped units on their corporate letterhead, make sure the product information is visible, clearly matches your product, and covers the time you had the item for sale on Amazon. You can hide the cost if you want. There is a help page on this somewhere. Dig for it and good luck. I also was told on the forum by someone (can't remember who) print the invoice, take a picture, then upload the picture. I think the bots like pictures better.
I started using a 3rd party app to audit my FBA products and they had better results than I have even without having to upload evidence. I take pictures of my shipments now because of this very reason. Even with pictures and invoices, it is a struggle. Amazon simply hides from their own employee theft or incompetence/loss of products. Keep an eye out for Amazon Warehouse selling your products.

I have had some luck calling in the middle of the night and getting U.S. based agents to help solve my issues. Recently, one was able to escalate this same issue. I did have to call back a few times and provide annotated invoices circling and highlighting which units were miscounted.

Alibaba issues a Pro Forma Invoice, which Amazon does not consider an acceptable invoice. Just contact the supplier and tell them you need a commercial invoice that does not say Pro Forma on it. That, Amazon will accept... or at least they did the last time I ran into that problem.

I just recently had an entire box delivered but never checked in. Took about a month of waiting and submitting constant documents and messages, I eventually got reimbursed for all of the missing items except 1. Which they gifted me an item which then sold FBA. Not sure who they stole that item from……

What 3rd party app are you using? (just as everyone is) we are having a massive issue with this too.

Hi @Seller_153zO5dxxE6Xt,
Can you please provide me with the Case ID you opened for this shipment? I looked in your account but wasn't able to locate this.
Best,
Dominic

It is becoming apparent that Amazon is no longer able to handle FBA shipments in a competent manner,
Seller_FeJPGYFU4tseL
That is why I have stopped using FBA at all. Plus fees are ridiculous.

Your items were put on a pallet Amazon sold to a liquidation outlet. Pure profit for Amazon, at your expense. Amazon is happy, why can't you be?

I am having the same problem! I've provided packing lists, and tracking info twice and receive the same answer each time. Anyone have any advice?
